About the school
Ropes Crossing Public School officially opened in 2008 to serve the Ropes Crossing community and provides quality education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school is a part of a Public Private Partnership designed to deliver modern educational facilities in growing regions of New South Wales. It aims to create a well-rounded academic curriculum across all key learning areas, promoting the highest expectations for student outcomes. The enrolment demographic is predominantly from English-speaking backgrounds, with a noteworthy increase in students from diverse countries such as the Philippines, Samoa, Vietnam, Germany, India, and Indonesia. As the school develops, it is anticipated to cater for over 300 students at full capacity.
The school prides itself on maintaining a supportive learning environment, bolstered by strong community engagement and the involvement of parents, carers, and families. The school’s core values focus on being safe, responsible, respectful, and excellent learners, all aligned with its motto, 'Growth Through Learning'.
