About the school
Kooringal High School stands as the sole partially selective high school in the Riverina region, established in 1973. It is a large co-educational comprehensive high school, accommodating approximately 900 students. The school's diverse student body includes 16% First Nations students, 10% from non-English speaking backgrounds, 19% who gained selective enrolment through the NSW State Selective Schools test, and 4% from defence families.
Educational Programs
Kooringal High School prides itself on a wide range of programs tailored to meet the academic, cultural, and sporting needs of its students. The facilities feature a Trade Training Centre, an industry-standard café, a Performing Arts Venue (PAV), a farm, the Clontarf Academy, and a state-of-the-art gym, known as the 'Crow's Nest.'
