About the school
Paddington Public School is one of New South Wales' oldest schools, established in May 1856, and is situated on its original site on Oxford Street, close to the CBD and Centennial Park. The school currently has 280 students, with a diverse community representing 30 different nationalities, and aims to provide an environment that supports student wellbeing and fosters social and emotional learning. With a commitment to helping every student reach their potential, Paddington Public School focuses on quality teaching practices and has a strong emphasis on differentiating the curriculum in literacy and numeracy. The school embraces modern technology, featuring interactive whiteboards, laptops, and an extensive computer lab to enhance the educational experience.
