Quakers Hill High School
A caring educational community shaping a positive future.
About the school
Quakers Hill High School is a comprehensive coeducational public school catering to students from Years 7 to 12, located on Darug land in north-west Sydney. As part of the Nirimba Collegiate, the school began its transformation into a Year 7-12 institution in 2021, embedding Stage 6 curriculum and offering a broad range of courses for senior students. The school prides itself on its inclusive atmosphere, welcoming students from diverse backgrounds and prioritising student welfare. Approximately 35% of students come from a language background other than English, with significant communities speaking Tagalog, Urdu, Hindi, Spanish, Punjabi, and Arabic.
Quakers Hill High School features a dedicated Support Unit, providing tailored learning environments for students with additional needs, including those on the autism spectrum. The school boasts robust learning frameworks that include opportunities for academic acceleration and caters to High Potential and Gifted students through specialised programs. Students engage in a variety of co-curricular activities, including a Creative Arts Showcase that highlights their talents in music, drama, and visual arts.
The community connection is strong, with an active Parents and Citizens Association and partnerships with local primary schools and educational groups. The school's commitment to fostering a positive learning culture is encapsulated in the SMART Code, which promotes safe, motivated, academic, respectful, and tolerant behaviours among students. Continuous development is a focus, with strategies in place to enhance educational outcomes and further community engagement. Quakers Hill High School is not only dedicated to academic excellence but also to shaping responsible, informed citizens through its diverse and enriching educational experience.
