Residential Wellbeing Program
Who attends
Students are usually referred by their own school for a short residential stay that gives them a change of environment along with health checks and wellbeing support. The program is offered to public school students across the state, and students remain enrolled at their home school for the duration of the stay.
What the school provides
An on-site school keeps students' education going while they take part in the program, so they do not fall behind during their stay. Alongside lessons, students receive health and wellbeing support and take part in recreation and group activities designed to build confidence and healthy routines. Staff liaise with each student's home school so any follow-up can continue after they return.
Finding a school
The school listed below is the NSW government school running this program. A place is usually arranged through your child's school; speak with your child's teacher or learning and support team if you think a residential stay may help.
