Abermain Public School is located in Abermain, to the east of Cessnock in the Hunter Valley, and currently accommodates 294 students. The school has a dedicated staff focused on improving educational outcomes and is an active participant in the Cessnock Community of Great Public Schools, which encompasses fifteen public schools in the area. As a White Ribbon school and a Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) institution, Abermain Public School prioritises respect within both the school and the wider community.
