About the school

Miller Technology High School is a welcoming community that has a proud 54-year history, named after the pioneering Miller family who cultivated vineyards in the area. With a current student population of around 661, the school is culturally diverse, with 81% of its students coming from language backgrounds other than English and 6% identifying as Aboriginal. The school provides an Intensive English Centre (IEC) to offer English instruction and cultural orientation to new arrivals, refugees, and international students. Since 2015, a dedicated support faculty has been established to enhance educational experiences for students with special learning needs.

The school's mission, reflected in its motto "Promoting Growth and Development", emphasises a holistic approach to education. The staff strive to create a safe and inclusive environment that fosters authentic learning while catering to individual needs.
