About the school
Caringbah North Public School is located in the southern suburbs of Sydney and offers a comprehensive education for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. The school's vision focuses on excellence in education within a respectful, inspirational, and nurturing environment, where every student is encouraged to reach their academic, social, and emotional potential. Integral to this aim are strong relationships within the school and the larger community, combined with a commitment to quality teaching and learning.
The school features two Opportunity Classes designed for gifted and talented students, providing an enriched curriculum that challenges these learners. With 26% of students from an English as an Additional Language/Dialect (EAL/D) background, the school delivers 21st century learning aimed at developing effective communicators who are collaborative, creative, and critical thinkers. Prioritising literacy and numeracy skills, Caringbah North Public School tailors its teaching to meet the individual needs of its students.
The school places a strong emphasis on wellbeing and inclusivity. Through programs such as 'positive behaviour for learning' (PBL), students are supported in their personal growth and development. Various co-curricular activities, including band, dance, choir, chess, public speaking, and sports, provide additional opportunities for students to thrive outside of the classroom. The dedicated and enthusiastic staff, along with strong partnerships with parents and the community, further enrich the educational experience.
Mission
We help every student to learn, grow and succeed. Guided by our core values of Safety, Learning and Respect, we maintain an inclusive and caring environment that fosters personal growth and collective responsibility.
