教授十一年級的新州公立學校
十一年級是 Stage 6（高中階段）的第一年，學生修讀 HSC 預備課程（Preliminary HSC）。以下列表包括綜合中學、精英中學、只教授十一及十二年級的高中學院，以及中央學校。
預備課程
學生須修讀至少 12 個學分單位的預備課程，其中英文至少佔 2 個單位。課程可從 NESA 的 Board Developed 科目、Board Endorsed 課程及 VET（職業教育與培訓）課程中選擇，部分由 TAFE 提供。未完成 HSC 便離校的學生，其預備課程成績會記錄在 RoSA 上。
高中學院與校區
新州有數間公立高中學院只招收十一及十二年級學生，通常提供較成人化的學習環境及廣泛的課程選擇。多校區學院則把同區的高中校區與初中校區組合起來。由於這些學校沒有七至十年級，它們只出現在本列表及十二年級列表，而不在較低的中學年級列表中。
