About the school
Bonville Public School is a small community school located in a semi-rural area, approximately thirteen kilometres south of Coffs Harbour. The school prides itself on creating a warm, friendly and family-oriented atmosphere where every student is valued and their individual needs are met. In addition to providing a comprehensive academic education, Bonville offers various programs in technology, ensuring that all students have access to modern computers. Teachers use Interactive Whiteboards and the school's two Connected Classrooms to enhance learning experiences.
The school has a rich music program featuring a school band and choirs for both Infants and Primary levels. A Civics program allows students to participate in a student parliament. Bonville Public School also emphasises physical activity and sport, with students engaging in intra-school, inter-school, and state-wide sporting activities. A Daily Fitness Program and a specialist gymnastics program further promote physical well-being.
Bonville encourages student participation through a coordinated excursion program that exposes students to experiences in the local area and beyond. With small class numbers and strong parent participation, the school's experienced staff can provide an educational setting that is equivalent to any in the region. Bonville Public School offers its students a nurturing environment where they can thrive and achieve their full potential.
