Seaforth Public School
Safe - Respectful - Responsible - Resilient
About the school
Seaforth Public School is committed to celebrating the uniqueness of each individual through an innovative and differentiated curriculum designed to help every student achieve their full potential. Located across two expansive campuses in Sydney's Northern Beaches, the school offers a wide range of successful curriculum initiatives. These include the engaging Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program and a specialist music program, which supports active participation in extra-curricular band, choir, and dance ensembles. The school's educational approach emphasises quality teaching and learning across all Key Learning Areas, with a strong focus on integrating technology that prepares students for future-oriented classrooms, including coding workshops and global networking opportunities.
The school culture promotes a set of core values centered around respect, responsibility, resilience, and safety, aiming to create an environment that explicitly teaches these positive behaviours. Achievements in social, academic, creative, and sporting areas are celebrated through the school's Celebration of Learning program held at the end of each term. In addition, the parent community actively engages with the school, fostering a strong collaborative relationship that focuses on achieving the best outcomes for students. With approximately 400 students, Seaforth Public School strives to maintain an inclusive environment where families feel welcomed and supported from their child's first day of school to their ongoing educational journey.
Mission
Seaforth Public School is where students are supported and encouraged to achieve their personal best through positive relationships, high expectations and a variety of academic, sporting and cultural opportunities, working in partnership with our families and the community. Through the delivery of high quality teaching and learning and effective wellbeing programs, our vision is to develop life long learners who contribute positively to society and are safe, responsible, resilient and respectful.
