Normanhurst Boys High School is located in the north-western part of Sydney, conveniently close to a railway station and the main freeway north. Established in 1958, the school transitioned to a fully selective institution in 1994 and has since maintained a strong academic foundation. In the 2018 Higher School Certificate (HSC), a remarkable 54% of students achieved an ATAR over 95, with 26% scoring over 98. This level of success has led students to attain 1st place in various subjects, including 2Unit Mathematics, Geography, Software Design and Development (SDD), and Ancient History.
