About the school
Bulahdelah Central School serves a supportive community located on the Myall River, midway between Forster and Tea Gardens on the lower north coast of NSW. The school caters to approximately 540 students, with around 30 from an Aboriginal background. It has undergone significant upgrades through a major capital works program, which has enhanced its facilities with new science laboratories, learning spaces, a middle school complex, art and TAS facilities, and a gymnasium. These modern amenities provide an environment conducive to comprehensive educational programs for students from Kindergarten to Year 12.
The school's educational focus encompasses Quality Teaching and student engagement, particularly in the middle years (Years 5 to 8). A key initiative involves the effective use of data to improve student outcomes. Bulahdelah Central School is committed to integrating technology into classroom practices and has participated in partnerships to foster innovative teaching methods.
In addition to academic excellence, the school prepares students for various Vocational Education careers, ensuring they receive a well-rounded education.
