About the school
Wadalba Community School is a comprehensive K-12 community school located in Wadalba, NSW, established in 2000. With a focus on creating a positive and dynamic learning community, the school aims to ensure that all students strive to achieve their full potential, enabling active participation in the world. Currently, it serves over 200 primary students and more than 1100 secondary students, providing a diverse range of programs, including unique electives like Rocket Science in Year 9.
The school offers a contemporary learning environment supported by specialist facilities such as a recording studio, aquaponics centre, agricultural plot, vocational education facilities, and a dance studio. Prominent programs include the Targeted Sports Program (TSP) and the Creative and Performing Arts Gifted and Talented program (CAPA GATS).
Wadalba Community School emphasises community connection and cultural affirmation, actively engaging students in co-curricular opportunities and partnering with local schools in the Wyong area, including Woongarrah PS, Kanwal PS, and others. The active P&C association plays an important role in the community, operating the canteens and uniform shop while fostering a supportive environment for families.
