About the school

Wyong High School is a comprehensive, co-educational and inclusive institution offering exceptional opportunities for all students to engage fully in the learning process. The school aims to prepare each student for lifelong learning, providing pathways for diverse academic and vocational pursuits. Selective classes are available for students in Years 7 and 8, focusing on Information Technology and AVID, to specifically cater to the needs of gifted and talented students.

Additionally, Wyong High School offers a wide range of VET courses in collaboration with TAFE and other agencies to create productive pathways for senior students. The school is proud to be a P-TECH school, which features STEM pathways linked to local industry. A distinctive initiative known as the Trade School enables students to complete their senior studies with a Higher School Certificate (HSC) credential, while also finishing their first year of an apprenticeship and gaining practical work experience.

The school boasts modern facilities that include a Trade Training Centre, a Primary Industries facility, and a fully equipped commercial-grade kitchen, thereby providing students with diverse employment options.
