About the school
Goulburn East Public School aims to be a community school where education is a partnership between students, teachers, parents, and the broader community. Students are encouraged to strive towards achieving their maximum potential by following the school's motto, 'Success through Participation', in a caring, stimulating environment. Academic, sporting, and cultural achievement alongside student welfare are the main areas in which the students strive for success.
The school has built a proud tradition of serving the local community for the last 120 years. It is set in landscaped grounds and features a combination of permanent and demountable classrooms, a demountable library, a refurbished office area, community hall, computer laboratory, covered outdoor learning area (COLA), canteen, tennis court, and an adventure playground.
Parents and community members are encouraged to become actively involved in the school through formal organisations such as the Parents and Citizens Association (P&C), fundraising committee, and canteen. Participation from parents in classrooms and on sporting fields further enhances the educational experience of students, making Goulburn East Public School a vibrant part of the Goulburn community.
