About the school
Raleigh Public School serves a diverse community, defined by a philosophy of learning rather than by geography. The school is highly valued and supported by parents and the local community. The school's stated aim is to provide a stimulating, supportive learning environment which encourages students to discover and fulfil their personal potential. Raleigh Public School seeks to promote the positive academic, social, and emotional development of each individual through the many and varied programs and support networks it offers. An integrated, student-centred curriculum is implemented throughout the school by caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic teachers who bring warmth, imagination, and integrity to teaching and learning. Although a small school, it boasts a strong Creative and Performing Arts program which includes whole school and performance choirs and a recorder ensemble. Additionally, it has strong environmental programs running, including a Kitchen Garden, orchard, and chickens. The produce collected and grown is used in the fortnightly Kids in the Kitchen program, where students plan, budget, and cook healthy and delicious meals for the school. The school promotes and inspires individuals to reach their potential in an inclusive and supportive environment, aiming to create future global citizens.
