About the school
Moree Secondary College is a government secondary school located in a prosperous rural community in North West NSW. It is part of the Connected Communities strategy and provides outstanding opportunities for young people to achieve excellence in a supportive environment. The College places particular emphasis on support programs for Aboriginal students. The school has two campuses: Albert Street for students in Years 10-12 and Carol Avenue for students in Years 7-9.
Curriculum and Opportunities
Students at Moree Secondary College have the chance to explore a variety of interests including academic studies, vocational education, music, drama, creative arts, and sport. The junior campus utilises the latest technology and innovative support programs to cater to diverse learning needs. The senior campus offers expanded curriculum options for Years 10 through 12 in a more adult learning environment, effectively preparing students for tertiary education. For those interested in vocational pathways, students can begin a vocational course as early as Year 9, or pursue a part-time traineeship in Years 11 or 12 while still enrolled in school.
