招收七年級的新州公立中學
七年級是新州中學的第一年，也是 Stage 4 的開始。以下列表是在這個入學點招收學生的公立中學、中央學校及精英中學，因此遠比小學各年級的列表短。
中學的類型
大部分學生入讀所屬的本地綜合中學，該校必須向居住在其收生範圍內的所有學生提供學位。其他選擇包括精英中學及部分精英中學（憑入學測試取錄）、以農業、表演藝術、體育、科技或其他科目為專長的中學、單性別學校，以及鄉郊地區的中央學校。新到澳洲、正在學習英語的學生，可先入讀附設於中學的密集英語中心。
七年級的學習
