教授三年级的新州公立学校
三年级是 Stage 2 的开始，属小学中段。这是学生首次参加全国 NAPLAN 测试的一年，也是接收幼儿学校学生的小学的入学年级。
NAPLAN
每年 3 月，全澳大利亚的三年级学生会参加 NAPLAN，范围包括阅读、写作、语文规范（拼写、语法及标点）及数理。结果会发给家长及学校，用以辅助教学。SchoolAtlas 不发布 NAPLAN 成绩，也不用它来比较学校。
三年级的学习
学生阅读及撰写更长、更多样的文章，学习乘法及除法，并接触分数及数据。科学、历史及地理成为各自独立的科目，有自己的探究活动。重点由“学会阅读”转向“通过阅读学习”，学生也需要更独立地完成任务。
