Belonging, support, and care for every learner
About the school
Seven Hills High School is a well-resourced, co-educational high school providing quality education for students in Years 7 to 12, situated within the Nirimba Collegiate of schools in north-west Sydney. Catering to a diverse student body, the school offers a 'Self Select Class' for dedicated learners in Years 7 and 8, while Years 9 and 10 feature a variety of elective courses catering to both academic and vocational interests. The school's commitment to vocational education is exemplified by its role as a pilot school for the Vocational High Schools Program, with the newly established Vocational Innovation Centre providing hands-on training and accredited VET programs for senior students across Western Sydney. This facility began operations in 2023 and showcases the school’s dedication to preparing students for their futures.
Additionally, Seven Hills High School celebrates its connection to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, proudly enrolling 42 indigenous students in 2024. The school features an Inclusive Education Unit that accommodates students with mild intellectual and autism spectrum disorder disabilities. High expectations for student conduct and achievement are promoted through various programs including merit schemes and community initiatives that reflect the school’s ethos of social responsibility and mutual respect. Extra-curricular activities abound, with opportunities in leadership through the Peer Support Program, the Student Representative Council, and various sporting and cultural competitions. By fostering a supportive and inclusive environment, Seven Hills High School encourages all students to strive for excellence and personal growth.
