About the school
Raglan Public School is a friendly and welcoming school located in spacious grounds, currently housing eight classrooms, a library, hall, and canteen. Two new classrooms and an additional flexible learning space are under construction to further support student education. The school is dedicated to integrating technology in learning across all Key Learning Areas, equipped with Interactive Whiteboards in classrooms, video conferencing facilities in the library, and a mobile laptop lab providing internet access. To cater for individual student needs, smaller learning groups are employed, with specific classes offering extension opportunities for students in years 4 to 6. Support Teacher Learning Assistance and Reading Recovery programs provide targeted literacy support for individuals and small groups.
Traditionally, Raglan Public School strongly participates in PSSA sports, benefitting from recent grants that enhance sports equipment. The school fosters a collaborative environment between parents and staff, which is crucial in maintaining a high level of educational involvement and interest among families. The partnership greatly enriches students' educational experiences by including their families in the learning process. Resources available on the school website provide further details on staff news, educational programs, and community initiatives, reflecting a commitment to transparency and engagement with the school's families.
