Lakelands Public School is a community school located in the Dapto area, proudly celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2011. The school is dedicated to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment, where caring and professional teachers strive to achieve quality outcomes for all students. Each child is encouraged to take responsibility for their actions and learning.

Lakelands Public School is situated on eight hectares of picturesque land, surrounded by residential homes, fostering a welcoming and friendly culture. The school's state-of-the-art facilities include refurbished classrooms equipped with Interactive Whiteboards and Video Conferencing technology, along with a recently enhanced playground featuring climbing equipment, a sandpit, a toy-car play area, and a giant chess board.
Community Engagement
Strong links with the community are maintained through an active Parent and Citizens Association and collaboration with other schools in the Dapto Learning Community. These partnerships aid in smooth transitions for students entering Kindergarten and High School, as well as fostering idea and resource sharing.
