About the school
Macksville High School is a co-educational comprehensive school located in the picturesque Nambucca Valley, specifically on the banks of the Nambucca River. Established in 1950, it has a proud tradition of excellence in academic, sporting, cultural, and civic achievements. The school is deeply embedded in the local community, enjoying strong support from parents and caregivers, which fosters a welcoming and inclusive environment for approximately 500 students from Years 7 to 12.
Facilities
Macksville High School boasts modern facilities that enhance the educational experience. These include advanced resources in Technology and Applied Studies, Creative and Performing Arts, and Agriculture, as well as a Trade Training Centre and a Language Centre.
