Campus of Northern Beaches Secondary College
Every learner, every opportunity.
About the school
The Freshwater Senior Campus, part of Northern Beaches Secondary College, is located on the northern beaches of Sydney. The school boasts state-of-the-art facilities that enhance the educational experience, including a 250-seat performance theatre, a national standard gymnasium, and a music centre with practice rooms. With a comprehensive curriculum offering a wide range of course combinations, students are taught by experienced educators known for their success in the HSC. The learning environment is designed to promote responsibility and personal growth, where students can engage in a mentoring program fostering trust and support between teachers and pupils.
Starting in 2027, the Freshwater Senior Campus will transition from a Year 11-12 campus to catering for students in Years 7-12, further expanding its educational offerings. This change is in line with the NSW Government's commitment to providing inclusive co-educational settings. As the school prepares for this transition, infrastructural upgrades are underway to ensure that all students have access to world-class learning facilities. For those not residing in the designated intake area, non-local enrolment applications will still be considered where capacity allows.
Overall, the Freshwater Senior Campus is dedicated to creating personalised learning pathways and fostering a supportive community for all its students, aligning with the broader mission of the Northern Beaches Secondary College network.
Mission
Freshwater Senior Campus is proud to be part of a connected network of public schools that provides inclusive, high-quality education for every learner. Our teachers work closely with colleagues across the college to share expertise, align teaching practice, and create personalised learning pathways for every student.
