教授十一年级的新州公立学校
十一年级是 Stage 6（高中阶段）的第一年，学生修读 HSC 预备课程（Preliminary HSC）。以下列表包括综合中学、精英中学、只教授十一及十二年级的高中学院，以及中央学校。
预备课程
学生须修读至少 12 个学分单位的预备课程，其中英文至少占 2 个单位。课程可从 NESA 的 Board Developed 科目、Board Endorsed 课程及 VET（职业教育与培训）课程中选择，部分由 TAFE 提供。未完成 HSC 便离校的学生，其预备课程成绩会记录在 RoSA 上。
高中学院与校区
新州有数所公立高中学院只招收十一及十二年级学生，通常提供较成人化的学习环境及广泛的课程选择。多校区学院则把同区的高中校区与初中校区组合起来。由于这些学校没有七至十年级，它们只出现在本列表及十二年级列表，而不在较低的中学年级列表中。
