Wooglemai Environmental Education Centre

Wooglemai Environmental Education Centre (EEC) is the only residential Environmental Education Centre in the South West Sydney Region. It offers both day and overnight excursions, featuring high-quality curriculum-based teaching programs that align with the NSW Department of Education's Environmental Education Policy. The centre’s programs are tailored to the educational needs of visiting schools, taking advantage of the unique surroundings of the World Heritage Listed Greater Blue Mountains National Park, where it is situated on the eastern edge of the Nattai National Park.

Wooglemai EEC also excels in providing quality outdoor education and camping programs, including activities like kayaking, archery, and an adventure ropes course. Furthermore, the centre extends support, advice, and resources to teachers, schools, and community groups, contributing to the South West Sydney Regional Environmental Education plan. Funded by the NSW Department of Education, Wooglemai EEC is dedicated to fostering environmental awareness and outdoor learning, making it an invaluable resource for educational institutions seeking to enhance their curriculum through experiential learning.
