Eglinton Public School, established 150 years ago, is a dynamic village school nestled on the Macquarie River in Bathurst. The school enjoys close ties with its community, with a range of programs that acknowledge individual student needs and the wider community. Eglinton Public School offers a variety of sporting options, enrichment programs in debating and public speaking, as well as learning support programs in literacy and numeracy. We represent a diverse cultural and socio-economic community and utilise the principles of Positive Behaviour Interventions and Supports to ensure all members of our school community are safe, respectful, responsible and active learners.
