About the school
Mathoura Public School is located in a small rural community in the Southern Riverina, between the townships of Deniliquin and Echuca/Moama. As the only school in Mathoura, which has a population of approximately 700 people, it serves 63 students across three composite classes with four full-time teachers. The school is highly valued by its vibrant learning community and features enthusiastic educators who focus on literacy and numeracy, while providing students opportunities to participate in performing arts and sporting activities.
