About the school
Buxton Public School is situated on a large site in rural surrounds, 1.5 kilometres from the Buxton village centre. Classified as a PP4 school, it has been operational for twelve years on its current site, serving as a benchmark for affordable environmental design. The school aims to provide an educational experience in a happy, stimulating, and caring environment, with a strong focus on student welfare, aligned with its motto, 'We Care'.
