About the school
Primbee Public School is a thriving small school situated between the ocean and the shores of Lake Illawarra, celebrating its 80th year in 2018. The school prides itself on catering to the educational needs of its local community. It emphasises the importance of close cooperation between the school and parents to support students’ primary education. Parents are encouraged to participate actively in their children's learning and are warmly welcomed into the school environment.
The school focuses on developing the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional aspects of its students, preparing them for lifelong learning. This is achieved through cultivating independent learners who can adapt to the changing needs of the modern world. Dedicated staff members work hard to provide a balanced education in a safe, caring environment, recognising individual needs and fostering each student's talents.
Primbee Public School promotes positive attitudes among students by providing opportunities for success in academic, sporting, and cultural pursuits. The school places particular emphasis on literacy, numeracy development, and overall student wellbeing. Recognised as a small school with a big heart, it strives to create a supportive community where each child feels valued and included, ensuring that every student not only learns but also grows personally and academically.
