Larnook Public School sits proudly on Bundjalung land, home of the Widjabul Wia-Bal people. It is a small rural school located 20 minutes from Lismore and Kyogle, offering a serene environment with expansive grounds that include two ovals and a lower playground equipped with play facilities. Upon entering, visitors are greeted by towering pines and native trees in a beautiful area affectionately named 'The Fairy Garden'. Established in 1922, Larnook Public School has been a central part of the community, cultivating a rich history.
The school promotes healthy eating by planting a wide variety of edible fruits and plants for students to enjoy. It encourages an active lifestyle through sports, participating in competitions across the Terania district. Comprising multistage classes, the school is supported by a dedicated and experienced staff.
