Sandy Hollow Public School is a small school located in the Hunter Valley, west of Muswellbrook. The school is committed to offering individual attention in a supportive environment, with a strong focus on student leadership. It promotes the core values of respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, trustworthiness, perseverance, and citizenship, encouraging students to develop independence, positive attitudes to learning, and competence in basic skills.
Educational Opportunities

With an active Parents and Citizens (P and C) association, Sandy Hollow Public School sees significant parental involvement in various programs, including sporting events and the Breakfast Club. All students have the opportunity to engage in a wide array of sporting, cultural, and academic activities, such as eisteddfod, public speaking, Starstruck, Solar Boat Challenge, Engineering Challenge, and participation in the Beef Bonanza competition. The school athletics program has also led many students to compete at the State level.

Sandy Hollow Public School is closely linked with the community, which is exemplified by its annual Remembrance Day ceremony that commemorates the connection between the local area and France.
