Cooranbong Public School is located in a semi-rural area on Awabakal land on the western shores of Lake Macquarie, offering its students an expansive and tranquil learning environment. The school is proud to be a member of the Western Shores Learning Alliance, collaborating closely with Morisset High School, the Itji-Marru Aboriginal Education Consultative Group, and local early learning centres. With a current enrolment of 303 students, including 53 who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander, Cooranbong PS provides a diverse educational experience across its 13 classes from Kindergarten to Year six, along with a multi-categorical support class.
The school nurtures a culture of excellence and is dedicated to enhancing educational opportunities while fostering strong connections with families and the community. All staff members focus on professional growth and student wellbeing, ensuring every child feels supported and valued.
