About the school
Swansea High School is a comprehensive, co-educational high school located in the picturesque seaside suburb of Caves Beach. The school is dedicated to providing a quality learning environment that accommodates the diverse needs of its students, fostering their growth into responsible, independent young adults. The curriculum at Swansea High ensures broad subject choices, including Vocational Education and Training (VET) courses in the senior years, which prepares students rigorously for the School Certificate and Higher School Certificate.
The commitment to student welfare is evident through a strong reputation for successful transition programs, including the Year 6 - 7 Transition Program which prepares students for high school alongside their families. The school's partnerships with six primary schools enhance the transition experience, integrating co-curricular and extra-curricular programs designed to help students achieve their personal best.

The dedicated and experienced teachers at the school are committed to nurturing individual students, striving for excellence in various fields such as drama, visual arts, and sports competitions.
Fostering a positive school culture, the values of respect, self-discipline, and responsibility are deeply embedded in the school ethos. The school embraces a robust Positive Behaviour for Learning (PBL) framework, aimed at enhancing students’ engagement and leadership. Swansea High School prides itself on being a supportive and safe educational environment where students are encouraged to flourish both academically and socially.
