About the school
Taree High School is a comprehensive co-educational high school located in Taree, catering to students from Years 7 to 12. The school aims to provide flexible educational programs tailored to the needs of all students, striving to create a safe and friendly learning environment. As part of the Connected Communities Strategy, Taree High School is committed to improving educational outcomes for Aboriginal students and families, recognising and celebrating the local Biripi Nation as the traditional custodians of the land. The Gathang Language and Culture is integrated into the curriculum, supported by local Elders and the Aboriginal community.
