About the school
Batlow Technology School caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 in a caring rural environment in the Riverina Highlands. Established in 1868, public education has been an essential part of the Batlow community, with the school located at its current site since 1874. In 2005, the original school motto, 'True Citizens', was updated to 'Preparing Future Citizens', reflecting the school's commitment to developing responsible, reflective, resilient, resourceful, and reciprocal citizens. The school embraces a philosophy of lifelong learning, focusing on empowering students to adapt and thrive in various circumstances. By fostering critical self-awareness and accountability, the school prepares students to face challenges and learn effectively. It aims for every student to develop skills for learning both independently and collaboratively, equipping them for the complexities of life in the 21st century.
